This work was created to mark the 65th anniversary of Elektrėnai and it was a part of ARS NOVA arts festival. The painting features the city’s main symbols – electricity and the lake.

The sketch began with a desire to paint those green glass insulators that beautifully catch the light against the sky.
And the swan… At first, I imagined it barely visible, blending into the clouds – like a secret to be discovered. But in the end, it became the brightest accent of the piece.
