Commissioned by the Lithuanian Road Maintenance Department

It was exciting to receive a document with 5–8 wall options to choose from within the Road Maintenance Department’s territory. This mural is one of two walls I painted there. I didn’t expect the black shadows to create such a striking effect, and I really enjoyed working with the clean shapes of the two vehicles – a salt spreader and a travelers’ car – on a cleared winter’s road, which loops seamlessly through the composition.
