My second visit to Joniškis — a distant town in the Žemaitija region of Lithuania.
Several sketch proposals were discussed, and somehow we settled on the most abstract one. It’s not exactly my usual style (if I even have one), but it was exciting to work with bold, expressive brushstrokes and thick, wet paint — creating a kind of “child’s painting” aesthetic, only on a much larger scale.
