ABOUT

There isn’t much public art or many murals in Joniškis — a small town in Lithuania. But new waves of contemporary art eventually reach even the most distant places. I was glad to be part of this project by bringing colors to one of the busiest corners in the city center.

For locals, it’s an important spot — a bus stop and a meeting place where people gather and check the latest posters and advertisements. The arches themselves added richness and depth to the composition.

I’ll always remember those hot summer days spent working — and watching tractors pass by all day long in this rural town.
