TITLE
Oak
ABOUT
Private commission.
This mural was created inside the garage of a newly built private home.
The idea to paint a large, old oak tree came from the owner himself — after a few other, more contemporary (but still strong) sketches were declined.
All the detailed brushwork was beautifully executed by Justina Sendravičiūtė.
In the final stage, I added layers of spray paint, which gave the image a more natural, organic look. I even blended in hints of bright red and blue — just like in nature, where nothing is ever one color, and everything consists of countless subtle tones and textures.
Many thanks to architect Adomas Rimšelis and Vaidotas for their trust.
