After a long 20-year wait, FK Kauno Žalgiris won the Lithuanian A-League, bringing the champion title back to the city of Kaunas. To celebrate this historic milestone, I was invited to paint a commemorative mural in the city. After considering two different locations, the club chose this long wall right in the city center on Karaliaus Mindaugo Street, near the Žalgiris Arena. I was honored to portray the championship-winning players and their coach, bringing them to life with the help of Hodas Art, who co-painted the faces and figures.
