Labyrinth

ABOUT

This mural is a homage to the renowned Lithuanian artist Kazys Varnelis. His exhibition at the newly opened NDG left a lasting impression on me and sparked the idea to recreate one of his optical works on a building wall.

Varnelis’s intricate visual maze fit seamlessly into the surrounding Soviet-era architecture — as if it had always belonged there. The mural quickly became a local landmark, continuing to brighten the day of both pedestrians and drivers passing this busy Vilnius corner.

Special thanks to Karolis Grubys for his tireless assistance.
