TITLE

Murals for Communities

ABOUT

My first professional project abroad took me outside Lithuania and offered a new perspective on how creative work is organized elsewhere. I used to think that everything abroad was more efficient and better managed — but this experience changed that perception. In reality, I realized that we in Lithuania often work just as effectively, and sometimes even more resourcefully, despite having fewer resources.

Despite the initial challenges, I met many kind and supportive people, and I’m truly grateful for this opportunity.

The mural’s concept centers on unity and collaboration — a community coming together toward a shared purpose. The bucket of water symbolizes people joining forces to “extinguish” a common problem, metaphorically represented as fire.

This mural is part of the Murals for Communities project, funded by the Creative Europe Programme.

Organized by VšĮ “Inovatyvūs kūrybiniai projektai”.
