Description
The works in the “Noise” series are created using a special spray-paint technique. Instead of producing a soft mist or smooth shading, the paint breaks into tiny dots, similar to pointillism. This gives the surface a textured, grainy feel—something between stone, old film grain, and digital noise.
These textured surfaces are combined with clean, geometric shapes that sometimes create an optical-illusion effect. The result is bold, simple, and visually striking. Nothing extra is needed; the contrast between the grainy spray and the sharp graphic forms is enough to carry the whole idea.
The “Noise” series began from this straightforward approach, and the method offers endless possibilities for creating new works by combining sprayed textures with strong graphic elements.
