TITLE
Repentance
ABOUT
This stencil graffiti piece was based on a simple yet striking idea: the more sins you commit, the greater your repentance becomes. It was created on the walls of Kaunas St. George the Martyr Church in the Old Town — a particularly symbolic location surrounded by the Pope John Paul II monument, a monastery, and the priest seminary.
The work was executed at night, entirely without permission. About eight years later, during wall renovation, the piece was eventually “buffed” — erased from the surface, leaving only its memory behind.
