ABOUT
People love color — bright colors instantly lift the mood. That’s the conclusion I came to while working on this wall. Painting this old wooden house was part of the “Putvinskio Street Day” event organized by the Kaunas Artists’ House.
At the time, I was exploring a style using spray paint drips, weaving them across the entire façade like a piece of textile. A few years later, the building was demolished, and a modern apartment house now stands in its place.
Special thanks to Arminas Raugevičius for the background, and to Karolis Grubis and Vytenis Jakas for joining me on this piece.
