TITLE

Stone In The Stream

ABOUT

As often happens, the best projects are born close to where I live – as if the space itself helps and protects the process. I pass by this wall every day, sometimes two or even four times, so it felt natural to bring something to life here.

The composition, inspired by traditional Baltic patterns, symbolizes water waves and the flow of the river. The water symbol – the zigzag – connects both to the flow of car traffic on one side and to the nearby Nemunas River on the other.

This was the first mural created in my “cube” style. I aimed not only to fill areas with color but also to introduce texture and movement through visible strokes. Even the contours aren’t straight lines, but small “bubbles,” which make the piece richer and more vibrant – though it took nearly twice as long to complete.

The project was funded by the Kaunas City Municipality.
