Sometimes it’s not the huge murals that leave a lasting impression, but the smaller pieces — those that appear in the right place at the right time, where a simple idea can resonate more deeply. That was the concept behind the “Small Walls Project.”

Finding the owners of random urban structures wasn’t always easy, but the results made it worthwhile. This particular gateway is a good example — an unnoticed wall subtly transformed with just enough color and warmth to make it feel more inviting and artistic, without overwhelming its surroundings.
